"I'm a Christian by choice," he told a woman who asked why he's a Christian. "My mother was one of the most spiritual people I knew, but she didn't raise me in the church... So I came to my Christian faith later in life and it was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead — being my brothers' and sisters' keeper, treating others as they would treat me."
Wow... that response really sucked. Seriously, you weren't rasied in a church, Mr. President, because your mother was atheist and both your father and your stepfather were Muslim. In fact, Mr. President, you grew up in a mosque, well at least Muslim schools.
Things must be bad, folks! Obama is clinging to his religion!?! He's actually talking about his faith! Well, sort of... When asked about abortion in light of his Christian faith, Obama replied that it should be "safe, legal and rare"...
How Christian.
I think I may have preferred the response, "that question is above my paygrade."
This whole "I'm a Christain by choice" canard is a little off-putting and anti-Christian, as well. According to Ephesians 1:4-6.
(That's the Bible, lefties. The book that Christians believe is the word of God! Just saying...)
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
The "kind of life that I would want to lead" is a little self-centered, Mr. President. Plus, the central question is not of obeying precepts (obliging rules and regulations); rather it's about repenting of sin and believing in and submitting to the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. Again, just saying...
Many Republicans are familiar with the term RINO (Republicans in Name Only). Well, based on the words and actions of President Obama, I think that he is a CHRINO (Christian in Name Only).

P.S. The Golden Rule and "being you brother and sisters keeper" are not the precepts of Jesus. Again, just saying...
