Dicken Elementary School Principal Mike Madison wrote the letter to parents following several days of controversy at the school after a field trip last week in which black students got to hear a rocket scientist. -Ann Arbor.com

That's right kids, you've heard of "driving while black" well this must be the dreaded "learning while white!" (That's a nice line. HT to Blogprof.)

White students not allowed! This isn't even separate but equal, it is rather separate and unequal by design! And the principle of the elementary school is defending this by pointing out the benefit to the black students that got to go:

“In hindsight, this field trip could have been approached and arranged in a better way," Madison wrote. "But as I reflect upon the look of excitement, enthusiasm and energy that I saw in these children's eyes as they stood in the presence of a renowned African American rocket scientist in a very successful position, it gave the kids an opportunity to see this type of achievement is possible for even them." -theblogprof

Wake up! It's 1954 again and this time Black educators get to play the role of segregationist, bigoted racist. Can anyone say Democrat Stockholm Syndrome? I bet Principal Mike Madison can.

Why I LOVE private education!

Unfortunately, I have also witnessed behavior like this at UW-Milwaukee and that was over 20 years ago.

Behold the entitled, my friends. I wonder... if this woman or her parents were paying $30,000 per year for tuition (or even 15K, 10K... 5K) would this outburst happen?

Hell naw!

When I started paying for my own education guess what? "C's" were no longer acceptable.

Disrespect toward a professor? My how times have changed!

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. — The full force of organized labor showed up in Central Falls Tuesday, with several hundred union members rallying in support of the city’s teachers and bringing plenty of harsh words for the education officials who were about to fire the entire teaching staff at Central Falls High School.

Board fires every Central Falls High School teacher.

“This is immoral, illegal, unjust, irresponsible, disgraceful and disrespectful,” said George Nee, president of the Rhode Island AFL-CIO, to shouts and cheers from a crowd of more than 500 at Jenks Park. “What is happening here tonight is the wrong thing … and we’re not going to put up with it.”

Da Union!

However, this warms my heart.

Let the union bashing begin!
