"The gas-electric vehicles are piling up on dealers' lots" . . . why? I thought Americans LOVED hybrids? Wanted hybrids! Needed hybrids! No, they didn't. But as anxiety over gasoline prices drops, more hybrid models are on the way. Oops! Los Angeles Times
Can you say... "BAIL OUT!"
Hybrid vehicles were the hot babes at the pool last summer, but sales have collapsed as Americans refuse to shell out big cash for fuel-efficient cars now that gas is cheap again. Follow the money lefties! It's all about the Big Mac. Americans like meat and, DavidB, oil is a renewable resource.
LOL! Made my day. :)

"Oil is a renewable resource"
You obviously have your own definition of renewable.

BlackinMiami,
Good to see ya! This is an old fight that I started with DavidB months ago. I'll see if I can dig it up for ya.

well oil does come from carbon desposits, and since it takes many years for it to become oil I would suspect that more will be available in the future, albeit far from enough to do everything we do with oil.
