The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night criticized Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.) for voting against the Democrats’ signature healthcare bill.
“We even have blacks voting against the healthcare bill,” Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night. “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.” -The Hill
Nice.
What else can't you vote against and call yourself a black man?
"The poorest people need healthcare protection," Jackson said. "They have the highest infant mortality and the lowest life expectancy. They're dying from lack of access."
Lack of access...
Where does Jesse Jackson live? Does he live in the hood? Why does a rich poverty pimp, who lives in a high end suburb in Chicago, who supports a mistress and their love child, get to represent the poor and downtrodden?
Can the poorest people of Chicago have access to his house?
Jesse, the poorest of the poor also have the highest illegitimacy rate, the highest abortion rate, the highest drop out rate and a high rate of drug addiction. Why is it the government's (i.e. taxpayers) responsibility to provide healthcare protection? Why do you think black folk ain't black unless they vote for the slavery of dependency?
Jesse why don't you preach universal responsibility instead of universal dependency. Better yet, why don't you just shut the hell up!
"It’s the kind of decision point the White House and Democratic leaders have consistently attempted to avoid. By playing down divisions over abortion and emphasizing shared goals — such as reducing the number of unwanted pregnancies in the United States — members of the president’s party have sought to blur the lines of one of the country’s most furious and enduring debates.
Blur the lines.
"They’re looking for an easy way out. And there is no easy way out when it comes to right or wrong or true or false," said former Boston Mayor Ray Flynn, an abortion opponent who served as ambassador to the Vatican during the Clinton administration. "On some of these issues, there’s just no compromise."
No compromise.
I know how that cowboy G.W. Bush would decide. Why can't Barack Hussein Obama make a decision? As a candidate Obama said he didn't know when human life began -- saying it was "above my pay grade." Now he's the president...
Is Hope & Change for the unborn still above his pay grade?
"The former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeast Texas says she had a "change of heart" after watching an abortion last month — and she quit her job and joined a pro-life group in praying outside the facility."
When people see the truth, frivolous arguments fly right out the window. What does this say for liberal orthodoxy.
In the first hour of last Saturday's National Conversation, I asked the question: Who are these people . . . these people who are lining up around the country to receive the H1N1 flu vaccination?
I'm asking the question again. Who told these people to get a flu shot? Their doctor? A nurse? What is in that flu shot? Who produced it? Do you trust a government that can't dispense it, to develop it and ensure its safety? Who do you blame if the vaccination makes you sick, or turns you into a straight up zombie or a flesh-eating vampire zombie like in that movie, I Am Legend! (Those vampires got the government free shot, too!) Are you saying you trust politicians in Washington D.C. and the media with your health?
Yep. According to these lines I guess so!
Hope & Change told these people that there is a national emergency. "Never allow a crisis to go to waste?" The media told them to get in line, and once there, the government rationed the meager supplies. The government didn't produce enough vaccinations! Millions of lemmings who want the shot are flat out of luck! Is it possible that even they are too dull to make the connection? Here, let me help.
Government health care. Lines. Rationing.
"Yes, We Can!" has turned into, "Government Can't!" Obama, the politician, was hopeful. Obama, the President, is a failure. (Personally, I blame George W. Bush.)
This is the third debacle of the Obama administration, and by far the most frightening. Forget the bailout, ignore Cars for Clunkers... America, H1N1 is your glimpse of health care run by the federal government.
America, welcome to your future. Welcome to Obamacare!
