Update: China

Images1 For the first time ever China has accepted outside professionals for domestic disaster relief. A Japanese rescue crew arrived early Friday - the first international relief workers in the disaster zone.

Initially China was reluctant to accept foreign offers of help, at least help from the U.S., but the Foreign Ministry said early Friday that specialist teams from Russia, South Korea and Singapore were welcome.

I made a wrong call. Things are definitely different in China. Maybe it's because the world is watching and there's no way to downplay the magnitude of this disaster. Maybe there are real cracks in the Communist machine. Whatever the reason,  China is excepting outside help!

Is this the first crack in the Chinese Communist wall?

Hey Sweetie!

"Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along." - President George W. Bush (speaking to the Israeli Knesset)

And with this statement, Barack Obama and the Dems go ballistic? I don't know, was President Bush even talking about Barack? Must have been . . . throw a rock into a pack of dogs and the one that yelps loudest was the one hit.

Obama got hit. "Ark! Ark! Ark! Ark!"

What a self-centered moron. What naivety. If I was the Chocolate Jesus, I would have shown more patience, played it smooth, let the reporters come to me and ask about the President's statements.  Then I would have responded with:

"I agree with the President.  Some people do believe in negotiating with terrorists. I believe in solving problems. What problems has the President's actions solved? Tough talk has never captured a terrorist.  Speaking of terrorists . . . why haven't we captured bin Laden?"

See sweetie? Easy.

Bananarama

Default It’s the banana, right? The banana goes too far. Otherwise who could argue the point? There is a resemblance…Obama kind of looks like Curious George! But the banana thing is over the top. It’s down right insensitive, unfortunate maybe… but racist?

Images3 Supporters of Barack Obama and other overly sensitive lefties better brace themselves! This is only the beginning. As a black conservative, I'm here to tell you that you ain't seen nothing yet. Ask Condi or Clarance and that was from their own people! You people better man up!

You Ain't Seen Nothin'!!!!!

Yes, He Can!

Images [“I heard that Obama is a Muslim and his wife’s an atheist,” said Mr. Simpson, drawing on a cigarette outside the fire station in Williamson, a coal mining town of 3,400 people surrounded by lush wooded hillsides.]

Nice.

Hey, isn't West Virginia the home state of former Ku Klux Klan (Exalted Cyclops) and current Democrat U.S. Senator Robert Byrd?

Doesn't matter. Barack Obama is a unifier. I think this is the miracle that will sanctify the Chocolate Jesus. I mean these people are not "egg heads" and they certainly are not Americans of African descent. These are the good, working class white folk that Paul Begala, Hillary and Bill (the first black president) Clinton call their own. These are the people that Barack must have to win the general election!

Call me crazy but... I believe! I think that Barack Obama will win West Virginy!

YEE HAAAAA!  (Howard Dean scream)

I BELIEVE!!!  (he he he)

Thank You Rush!

Clinton_rendell_042208 Hillary won't admit it but Rush Limbaugh and "Operation Chaos" is one of the reasons why she is surging toward the finish line. That and the fact that Obama has "Foot in Mouth" disease.

Talk about strange bed fellows! Ouch... that's not a pretty picture.

"They Played the Race Card on Me..."

Images2 Bill Clinton (my vote for second worst ex-president in the history of the United States) shows why he is an ass during this radio interview.

Listen in and pay attention to what he says after he thinks the phone is hung up. Then check out his denial on abc News blog.

P.S. Harlem voted for Hillary? BS!

The Children are listening

21carter600 This morning as I was making lunches for my kids (yeah, I can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan), a news reporter announced that Jimmy Carter, former American president and a national disgrace, said on Monday that he had obtained a significant concession from the Palestinian group, Hamas, regarding Israeli-Palestinian peace and that he also found the Syrian leadership eager for a full peace treaty with Israel.

My son, who was sitting at the counter and listening to the broadcast, looked up and said: "Why should we believe him?"

Exactly.

The boy is nine years old and he gets it. Who the hell is Jimmy Carter and why should we believe him, Hamas or any Democrat when it comes to national security?

Jimmy Carter . . . the worst ex-president in American history.

Have You Seen This?

Obama Tech Advisor Introduces video of Jesus singing the gay anthem "I Will Survive", who gets hit by a bus. NewsBusters has the story and video.

The question must be asked: Who are these people that Barack Obama associates with? Reverend Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers (a former member of the Weather Underground), Tony Rezko and now this! If birds of a feather flock together, then what does this say about Barack Obama the man?

Change We Can Believe In

Images3 I believe Common Council president Willie Hines will sail smoothly to another term. The same, however, cannot be said of County Board chairman, Lee Holloway.

Why?

Both men are black, both are Democrat. However, one is a crony, a crook, a slumlord, ethically challenged and weak, while the other is moral, competent, good and has a vision for the city.

Yeah, I said it. Even if Hines is, on occasion, a little ideologically misguided. Still he is the kind of politician who will never bring shame and embarrassment on his office. So here’s the question: Which style of leadership reflects best on Milwaukee? Which style of government do we want over the next few years?

In good time, I believe Alderman Hines will be the mayor of Milwaukee (I just need a few more years to work on him). We may not agree on many things but there is one thing that I know for certain. Willie Hines is a man of integrity. He is measured,  meticulous and good. After decades of having to choose between “tree shaking” activism and corrupt thug cronyism, it’s time for something new... something different, something boring yet effective.

Willie Hines’ style is boring. Yeah, I said it, you will never hear Alderman Hines say something stupid like “Take yo ass to church!” (He actually chastised me for using ass and church in the same sentence. Oh well, I’m provocative... and stupid...he’s not.) But you will find him in church on Sunday and in the community the rest of the week. And if you visit “da hood,” you will also see the legacy of revitalization that is taking place in his district.

So, now that McGee is a memory and Holloway will soon be a castaway, maybe the city can embrace “change we can believe in” with Milwaukee’s own version of the Chocolate Jesus.

Wow. That was wrong. See what I mean? Alderman Hines doesn’t fit the mold of a charismatic, tree shaking, civil-self-righteous, self-aggrandizing, sleazy politician...

Good!
