    Lone Wolf

I've spent the last 15 years working in management at a manufacturing plant with a union. In my opinion if this vidoe is correct and the unions account for only 7% of workers, that's 7% too much!

There was a time in history that there was a need for unions to better the working conditions and develop rights for employees but that time has passed. Now the "union mentality" has become so far off base that all they are doing now is ruining and bankrupting companies.

Look at all of the nonsense that went on with Mercury Marine. I've not only seen this before but lived it. I went through a union strike and 8 years after there are still many hard core people who've been in the union for 30 plus years that just won't let it die and do whatever they can to disrupt work and undermine authority even though there is not one single member of upper management left at the company that was there when the strike occurred.

I don't want anyone to think that ALL union members are bad because they aren't, but as long as the union committee members and stewards are the old hard core members, things will never improve.

Lone Wolf is right about having lost the way. It's like a temporary gov't program; it WAY outlives it's original purpose and ends up doing harm instead.

The video does a great job of showing the difference between a company that competes in the free market for marketshare versus one uses the legislature to give it the advantage. See http://bit.ly/1dKA3d for more how gov't fails its citizens.
