Anticipated or manipulated? Soros has be been banned from trading in some countries and has been accused of trying to crash the British pound. It would wrong to call him a ideologue, Soros is beyond being liberal or socialist. Soros is a financier and the man pulling Obama's string.

Yes, he is having a good crisis and as another one of his puppets said recently... "Never let serious crisis go to waste."

People do realize that Soros makes most of his money trading in currency, right?
Having watched him speak on several occasions it is obvious he would know what could prevent financial crisis and what could create it.
My question is why would a guy like George Soros be an apparent Socialist or Liberal? He loves money and loves making money. Just think about it.

Soros is beyond ideology, he simply wants it all. The worst stereotype of the uncaring capitalist are evident in him. That he supports so many left and extreme left position is the paradox he has created for himself. All I know is I don't care which side of the political divide he is on, I don't trust him and the world will be better off after he has passed.

One of his organizations helped fight against a new mine in an impoverished romanian town about 2-3 years ago. Of course it didn't hurt that he controlled a competing firm which wanted to do the same thing, yet had his political activists fight to stop his competitor. He is the only man I would say I could accurately call evil. This man helped persecute his own countrymen in Hungary during the 2nd world war.

Shorting the pound and voting for the labour party seem pretty natural to me. Seems only the conservatives in Britain value their economy. In short its quite logical that an elite leftist like Soros would want to support the leftwing party that will help erode the sovereignty of his "home" country. If anything the two follow each other logically, lefty party, and devaluing an economy for personal benefit, seems a perfect fit. He is a profiteer. This is why every thing he has his hands in are tainted. Media matters, tainted, the Clintons, tainted, Obama, tainted, MoveOn.org, tainted, ThinkProgress also tainted. To me if I were an American and a republican and a guy on the right wa doing this it would be enough for me to rethink my position. But let's be honest here, lefties aren't known for thinking out their position in the first place let alone rethinking after some time. Considering the fact that conservatives presided over the crashing of the economy... i don't see the point in equating the two. The democrats win on economic issues not by accident. The UK had Thatcher and she got booted out, The US had Reagan, but Reagan's bad policies fell on Bush 1 and he got booted out. It doesnt' really make sense to conclude that conservatives actually know anything about the economy when their track record is crap. I mean, as far as the GOP goes, they are 3 for 3 in financial crashes when they control the presidency and senate

If you run a large business, your political connections are more about who's in charge, not who thinks like you. That's why wall street donates to Obama or any other Democratic Senator. (or any other republican in government for that matter).

And it's still so ridiculous to act like Soros needs liberals to get a hand out. IT WAS BUSH THAT INITIATED THE BAILOUT. Bush, the guy that conservatives stuck by and still amazingly managed to defend at every turn.

Republicans resided over the crash along with Democrats not conservatives. very few republicans qualify as true principled conservatives. There is a significant difference between the two. It is possible to be republican and not conservative. Just look at McCain and the Bushes, excellent examples.

Soros doesn't need liberals to get hand outs, he uses them to get hand outs. there is a difference between manipulation and need. If Liberals weren't so gullible and easily lead I'm sure Soros would have funded conservative movements instead of lefty ones. He went were he got the easiest pickings ... to the left.

As for Bush sure he started the bailout crap and stimulus crap, I won't lie, and I am highly critical of him for having done it. I also am critical of congress for the the legislation required for those ideas to be enacted. That Obama has followed suit and compounded Bush's folly doesn't make me sleep any easier. Two wrongs don't make a right. when stuck in a whole you have dug, the way to get out isn't to dig deeper. How many more analagies do I need to use to get you to understand ? Probably a lot more than I know. I'd probably have to learn a few different languages first.

The left will always look bankrupt when people such as yourself cheer lead for them. there are intelligent defenses of the left, unfortunately you don't happen to know many.
