Stone Her!

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" – Jesus (John 8:7)

Captcpsnmc09030908123541photo00phot A woman, who had been caught in the act of adultery (minus the male offender), was brought to JC by the Scribes and Pharisees of the day, as a test to see if the Messiah was "liberal" in matters of the Law and God's justice. In response to their disingenuous query, Jesus didn't condemn the woman, not because He was a liberal, not because He excused her sin, but because the men who brought the woman to Him were Hypocrites… they were like... Democrats.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

Those words mean nothing in today’s political climate.  Liberals don’t know God, they don’t know compassion, they don’t know decency, and they don’t play by the rules. Like the Pharisees in this story, liberal Democrats try to use the failings of others to destroy their enemies.

In this case, Senator John McCain.

Sarah Palin has been caught in the act of governing a state with a pregnant child and a Down syndrome baby…

STONE HER!

This from some conservatives?!? The further left you go on the ideological spectrum, the more vile the accusations become. Yesterday, a woman who fashions herself a moderate, told me Sarah Palin is a “power hungry bitch.”

Wow. Should I tell you what some people are saying about Governor Palin's daughter?

Just like the woman from Jesus' story, the left is not concerned about Sarah Palin, her children, or her qualifications. They want to humiliate and crucify John McCain. Even if they destroy the Palin family in the process.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

The scriptures teach us that upon hearing Jesus' statement the mob walked away . . . the oldest and wisest first, followed by the young and the stupid.

The left won’t walk away.

Comments

That was very first Bible quote I thought of when this whole thing appeared. The title Power Hungry Bitch is so 1970s. To the person who told you that, "Get over it!"
Good grief, give this woman a chance. I can't wait for her speech this evening.

The left calls Sarah Palin a hypocrite because her daughter became pregnant out of wedlock. Exactly how does that make her a hypocrite? No matter what you teach a child, they will reach an age when they are still going to do as they wish. At some point, you have to let them go and hope that some of that teaching sunk in. In this day and age it's ever more difficult. I understand this, even though I have never been a parent.

Way back in the early 70's my older sister got pregnant while she was engaged. Does that make my very Christian mother a hypocrite, too? I'm sure she'd be interested to know that.

The left is always so fast to play that hypocrite card. They still don't understand that Christians aren't expected to be, and, more importantly, don't believe we are perfect. We beleive in the sanctity of life. They abort fetal tissue. We beleive in the covenant of marriage as God ordained it. With them, it's anything goes. Yet if you were to put one of them in a similar situation, neither Trig nor the child that will soon make Sarah Palin a grandmother would ever draw breath. But WE are the hypocrites! How pathetic.

P.S. I've always thought of Hillary as the original Power Hungry "B", so that comment really takes that cake!

Make that "believe". I know the rule, so how did I type that wrong twice?

From the massive, and obscenely abusive, mistreatment of this lady who would be vice president, I can only conclude that Sarah Palin scares the holy beejeesus (sp) out of the liberals around this great nation. Why is this woman so much more threatening than the second coming of the messiah, or the second Clinton presidency?

Why?? Because she is a tough minded and conservative woman who can help a patriot beat the "One" in November. I think the choice of Sarah Palin was inspired on Friday, but the vile and venomous response from the is still nauseating and yet enlightening about the true moral morass on the left.

4 years ago, I got a bumper sticker from Jeff Wagner that said "Bush Won. Get over it" Lord knows I want to get one that reads "McCain & Palin Won Easily. Now grow up and be an AMERICAN, not just another spoiled brat"

So you should be able to forgive the transgressions of the Left, walk away and talk about the issues. Judge not lest ye be judged. Dana Michelle download Firefox 3 it has a built in spellchecker. Seriously.

A jewel among jewels of a column!!!

Fired up,
Try reading the rest of Matthew...

Matt 7:2-5 "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged [if we judge with an evil heart or dark intent, His judgment of us will reflect it; if we judge nobly and honestly, His judgment of us will reflect that, too], and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you [if we use extremes or exaggerations or other unfair means, our judgment will reflect it].

Oh,and leave Dana Michelle alone... Seriously.

So you should be able to forgive the transgressions of the Left, walk away and talk about the issues.

Will do - as soon as you realize Christ's words to the woman were "Go and sin no more."

Not, "Go, and hey, do whatever makes you happy. Kill your offspring, sleep around, and get on with your bad self!"

By the way - the Biblically illiterate shouldn't quote Scripture.

"Judge not lest ye be judged" deals not with earthly judgment. Indeed, one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy is to "admonish the sinner."

"Judge not lest ye be judged" deals with making assumptions about the final destination of one's soul (i.e., heaven or hell).

It is my wish that everyone - liberal and conservative - come to know Christ and make it to Heaven. Part of assisting with that is admonishing the sinner and judging actions and behaviors that are sinful.

how about John:8 v6 ....."but Jesus stooped down, and with His finger wrote on the ground". What do you think he was writing? Do you think it could have been the sins of her accusers?

Fired Up: WTH?

I'm a much better speller than I am a typist, and I'd have taken your Firefox comment as helpful if it wasn't for the "seriously" crack.

I'm sorry that my typo and subsequent correction was so upsetting to you.

Seriously!

James: Thanks for having my back :)

stand up column James, she has the lefties scrambling -- and like I said in that earlier post, the rush to demonize her galvanizes the rest of us to recognize the fact that she is the perfect woman for the job. It's all about ideology, and she has the one we can all rally around

Dude, you're making crap up. Name the "liberal" who has made a "vile accusation".

Can't do it, talking points man, can you. Of course not, but people tell you to say it so you do. Cuz its in your right wing bible.

But that's you. You don't care if she's a liar (she supported the bridge to "nowhere", cuz nowhere was in Alaska) cuz Charlie Sykes says you shouldn't.

You don't even know what a hockey mom is. (Its a rich white lady who lets her underage daughter f*** hockey players, if I understand it.

"Liberals don't know God"? You wrote this. What a hateful, ignorant thing to say. Lucky you make your stand supporting "special needs" kids (such as yourself). By the way, who's against them? You specialize in creating straw men. Now you think you're clever creating straw retarded kids.

Gloves are off. (quote from governor's daughter to pedophile she'll marry some day). He may be a "f****** redneck" but at least he plays hockey.

James Harris loves hockey.

Oh, yeah, Plaisted has a new "name" so he can post on your site. Free Speech lives, censor dude.

Boy do you guys have your panties in a bunch. My bad that was sexist. Anyway, Dana I wasn't being sarcastic. That is why I wrote seriously. Firefox 3 has a built in spell checker, check it out.

James, I could have said, you guys are just as bad, simply put. But from my perspective people on BOTH sides are juding with an evil heart, full of darkness. If we are going to use the bible as a reference, we should live up to its ethos. How about turn the other cheek. Love is the greatest commandment.

Amy I know Jesus didn't come to this earth all full of cheer, riding unicorns over rainbows. I resent you saying "By the way - the Biblically illiterate shouldn't quote Scripture." Not that you care but you have no idea about my religious beliefs and basing your ideas off of one sentence is foolish on your part.

"Part of assisting with that is admonishing the sinner and judging actions and behaviors that are sinful." If that is the case I haven't heard or seen ONE Republican, evangelical or conservative admonish Palin's daughter's pregnancy. If anything it is turning into exploitation.

You just like Palin cuz you wear her glasses.
