Save the museum? Why?

Facade “Should the City of Milwaukee or others step in to save the Black Holocaust Museum?” asks the Journal Sentinel Editorial Board.

No.

It’s time for the black citizens of Milwaukee to put up or shut up. If the wealthy ministers of some Milwaukee black churches and the secular well-off blacks in the city are not motivated to bail the Museum out of its financial difficulties, why should the tax paying citizens of the city?

It’s funny how Americans of African descent are comfortable with self-segregation until it involves self-support.

If the Black Holocaust Museum is important to the community, the community will support it. If not, the Museum had a nice run and lasted slightly longer than the man who founded it. Soon it will join the African World Festival as another black Milwaukee institution left to wither on the vine.

Comments

Just pull an MSM. If you don't support the Museum, it must be because you're racist. Or, just go after those sissies prone to 'White Guilt'. I'm sure they'll pony up.
