Sell Out! Cracker! Uncle Tom!!!!!
Obama was asked who on the U.S. Supreme Court he would have never nominated. His reply: Clarence Thomas.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Are you frickin’ KIDDING ME?!?
"I don't think he was a strong enough jurist or a legal thinker at the time for that. I profoundly disagree with his interpretation [of the Constitution]," he said.
NOT A STRONG ENOUGH JURIST OR A LEGAL THINKER??? OH MY DEAR GOD!!!!!
To all of you who have labeled me an Uncle Tom, a sell out, a cracker, a graham cracker, a hater of my own people.... What the hell do you have to say about the Chocolate Jesus????
He could have named Scalia. He could have called out Roberts. But, NO! He dissed the only American of African descent on the Court... out of ideology!
"I profoundly disagree with his interpretation [of the Constitution]."
Fine. Many Americans of African descent profoundly disagree with you, Obama, because you are left of liberal, more naive than a neophyte and vacuous as space.
That includes me.
I only hope that you get to experience one tenth of the abuse that I catch for “selling out” the race for ideology.
“Not a strong enough jurist or legal thinker… My God! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
James, he would have said that about ANY black conservative. If you're black and you leave the Democrat plantation, you're the worst of the worst. As to Thomas not being a strong legal thinker?? SSDD from a Democrat who likely has not read a Thomas opinion.

James, don't you realize that Clarence Thomas has an asterisk by his name which means he's really not black enough therefore is open game for any and all liberals??

James - don't hold back, tell us how you' *really* feel. ;)
But, in all seriousness, Obama stepped in it so many times last night he'll be cleaning the crap off his shoes until November.

NEITHER of them mentioned "slavery" as one of America's great moral failures.

Wow, James, I am ashamed for you.
Posted by: Hope | October 10, 2008 at 12:29 AM
Wow, I wouldn't call you an Uncle Tom, but just a plain idiot. You thinking hanging out with the GOP (former Southern Democrats who realigned with Republicans due to the Civil Rights Act being passed) and then their use of the Southern Strategy, makes you smart, when in fact it reflects your lack of education. The fact that you had to tell John McCain to use issues that don't matter to the American people, instead of actual issues speaks volumes. I guess the ECONOMY is not the GOP's strongsuit right now. You'd be great as the token Negro on Fox Noise.

God FORBID, Obama disagree with someone based on their interpretation of the Constitution. You then wanted him to give him a pass because of his skin color. A brother looking out for a brother, right? Funny how one moment you want us to get past judging people based on race, but have no qualms about it if it fits your ideas.
"He could have named Scalia or Roberts!" - And that would have brightened your view of him? Please. Give me a break.
What you're not experiencing is abuse. What you're experiencing is getting schooled on your inane stupidity.

We have two homes we can't sell, each decreased $100K in value! We cry at our dinner table, can't afford to have a baby. But Wall Street gets bailed out. And the pitchfork people cannot believe that Obama is ahead? Repubs are such arrogant morons. Huge egos; low self-esteems they like to fill with money.
We are "free" Americans stuck, our dreams halted, while AIG execs take a $400K vacation. All self-seeking Repubs, I'm sure.
I voted Reagan, but I will NEVER vote Republican again. You are a party too full of hangers-on, selfish capitalists, white trash, and hypocrites. Family values? No. Homewreckers? Yes.
James, I would have passed for white in that crowd. And yes, you deserve as many ass kickings as you can take. I was so ashamed of your black ass begging John McCain. This country was built on slavery, and the Repubs don't want you for anything but a tool. When the lights die down, I've had the displeasure of hearing how many of those conservatives you stood with feel about blackness. McSame couldn't even do right by the great American Dr. Martin Luther King!
Repubs. Listen up. You won't get away with stealing from my family again! Chagen is coming.

JT, I found this qoute from someone you admire:
Words to live by.....
“A lot of people are apathetic about campaigns because you see a lot of the garbage that goes on in campaigns and the personal attacks and the character assassinations that are so unnecessary,” she said. “They’re useless; they detract from the issues.” Sarah Palin, Fairbanks Daily News Miner Editorial Board Interview, 2006

Here a site that you can get McCain and Palin to discuss with Obama about terrorist groups. Good reading, JT

You have your right to say what you do. I, as an American soldier defend that. But I will also use my right and say that you do indeed hate yourself. Your begging McCain yesterday proved that to be a fact. "Please mistah masta, I be a good nigra for ya! Juz get dat der Obama fella."

James, I couldn't believe you did that mess!!!! We have come so far as a people and you are allowing your EGO to potentially mess up a historic moment for us! How selfish and ignorant. We can taste the first Black President, and YOU of all people are left in the house. You are indeed a stupid man! Never go against the tide of history! If you don't like Obama, than say your piece and HUSH. But don't allow McCain to use you as a token negro! You are a disgust. I paused my tv after you spoke and taught my sons the lessons of what a man is NOT! Wake UP

I find the opinions expressed about Sen. Obama interesting, but misleading. And you calling him the Black Jesus immature. But it's your show, so have at it. There is nothing wrong with a black man being a conservative, I find myself on this side as well. But I think I'm more of a hybrid. Andrew Sullivan put it this way:" I am a Religious Secularist. Let me explain what that means, It means I do have faith, but I believe that our politics should be governed by Secular principles." Being against Obama is one thing, calling for John McCain to bring up Rev Wright or any of these others that folks on the right think will save them from an Obama presidency is entertaining when the great majority of people want answers to the economic mess. Talking about Ayers and Flegler or Wright plays into the hands of the Democrats more then it helps McCain. And there I see you begging McCain to bring it up. Are you a plant?

Funny how the anti-Quota right wingers studiously ignore that Clarence Thomas was a quota pick. Thurgood Marshall steps down and Bush I nominates a circuit court judge whose only strong qualifications were skin color and conservative ideology (is Scalia this guy's puppetmaster or what? Does he EVER vote out of step with Scalia? How come when Thomas speaks I never see Scalia's lips move?)
If you dont believe Affirmative Action or Quotas are the way to go, I'd think one would AGREE with Obama's stance not disagree.
BTW your weird little Chocolate Jesus obsession speaks of jealousy--you love the attention you get as the Exceptional Black Conservative and it bothers you viscerally to see Obama get attention that dwarfs yours by a factor of several million...sad, Harris. Just sad.
Posted by: Dale | October 10, 2008 at 11:46 AM
I consider myself a independent conservative, but even I have grown to become very proud of Obama and how far he has come. Even his wife has proven to be a very intelligent and a real woman who handles herself with class. I am PROUD as an African American woman when I see these two. There is no way in hell I would vote for McCain after he ran such a racist and hateful campaign. And you had the nerve to stand up and ask him to bring up Rev. Wright? You ought to be ashamed of yourself. You are nothing but a clown, and you are a fool to say the least. If Rev. Wright is brought up again, I promise you McCain will lose! I promise! Mark my words. He had better start talking about the economy, or he can kiss the white house goodbye. And then he will have idiots like you to thank for that.
Posted by: Mandy | October 10, 2008 at 11:48 AM
I am happy to know that there are blacks like James T. Harris still around. House negros like Harris make me feel safe because they don't mind kissing white people's behinds. If I ask Harris to jump, he would say "how high?" Harris is trained to comply with white orders and I appreciate him for that.
