The Reverend Jesse Jackson apologized today for wanting Obama's nuts...

Hummm, reminds me of comments I made in a recent post. The Civil Rights generation wants leverage over Obama. This was a shot across the bow.

I can talk about our people but you cannot....

I've been waiting for someone to say Obama wasn't "really black" or wasn't "black enough" and I should have known the good "reverends" would have led the decry. They won't have as easy a time dismissing Obama as they did Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice, but they're working on it. So much irony, so little time.

I don't believe Jesse really said that anyway, this is more Jesse's style:

He called us lazy butts, so we'll lop off his nuts!

He said our men don't walk tall, so we'll remove his balls!

He mocked us in our vestibules, now say good-bye to his...well, you get the idea.

Jesse Jackson must brush his teeth with Desenex, as often as he puts his foot in his mouth, I wouldn't be surprised if athelete's foot has set in. Also, the excuse that he thought the mike was off has got to be the lamest excuse for committing such a gaffe. At one time I respected Jesse Jackson, but now all bets are off and at these recent remarks my respect was buried and the last shovelsful of dirt put on top.

Leave Uncle Jesse alone. Don't act like ya'll don't have that crazy uncle in your family. You know the one that nobody wants to sit next to because he'll say anything inappropriate about anybody.

He shouldn't have apologized... he should have went out like Mayor Marion Barry (DC) and claimed he was set up.
