No Common Ground

Thanks to a few people of conscience, the rest of what of the Reverend Jesse Jackson said on the “hot mic” is starting to leak in drips and drabs to the public.

"Barack...he's talking down to black people...telling niggas how to behave…" is the latest shoe to drop from the career killing quip. The Reverend Jackson, champion of the downtrodden, used the N-word to describe the down trodden.

“Niggas.”

Remember the Michael Richards incident? Wasn't it the Reverend Jesse Jackson who called for a boycott of all DVDs from the show Seinfeld because of Michael Richards using the N-word in a comedy routine? Didn't the NAACP hold a funeral for the N-word just a few months ago. So symbolic, so sincere . . . America's premier civil rights organization standing at the casket, burying the word “nigga” and all of its cousins, forever...

Well, burying it for public use, that is. Like I told you in a previous blog post, the NAACP didn't bury the word -- as long as the civil rights generation is around the N-word will be alive and well. This is what goes on behind closed doors, all the time!

Will this new information damage the good Reverend’s name among black folk? Nigga, please! It won't even cause a ripple...black folks know that this is how black folks refer to other black folks. Jesse Jackson has just given Americans of African descent permission to... resurrect the undead.

It's the white folks (and the rest of the Americans) who should be outraged! Especially all of the dumb-ass, guilt-ridden corporations that caved into Jackson's demands over the years. It's the Michael Richards, Jerry Seinfelds and the Don Imases of the world who should be outraged! Can you imagine?

The Reverends Jackson and Sharpton have literally fleeced millions of dollars from the double standard.

Millions.

But the “civil rights” chickens have come home to roost in glorious technicolor and surround sound.

Those who live by the sword die by the sword. In this case, the sword is the word “nigga,” used against Jackson’s own people, while trying to tear down their black messiah. 

Now that’s justice.

Jesse Jackson’s power, influence and legacy are ruined by the words that flowed so freely . . . falling, dancing from his lips! His whole career ruined, with a racial slip.

Jackson's career ruined? James, being a liberal means almost never having to face the consequences. Jackson may be slightly diminsihed, but ruined? Nah. Won't happen.
